Sneak Peek from the Upcoming "10 Explorers who Changed the World"

June 30, 2008

We’ve been teasing you for over a year now about these mysterious books we’ve been working on, but as the release date approaches we can finally begin to show you a few images from the upcoming book “10 Explorers who Changed the World”. This is the first in a new and exciting series for younger readers. Due to be released on the 4th August 2008 by Kingfisher, an imprint of Macmillan Children’s Books, this new and innovative series of books will use Cool Surface’s animated art style to attract more reluctant readers and teach History in an exciting and engaging way. Here’s a glimpse of Magellan’s employee appraisal system…

  1. Excellent work on the women here my friend. Just checked you out from Skottie’s blog. Looks like the Cintiq is working out for ya 🙂

I have a slide show just like your up pn my “MySpace” page. How did ya get it to work on your blog?

    Take Care all the best.

  2. Rad dude! Great poses and foreshortening.

  3. Dan: Nice to meet you mate, thanks for the kind words, the Cintiq is lovely. I’ll email you the code for the slide gallery, it’s quite simple, but far too long for a blog comment!

Tom: Thanks buddy, it’s always good when you pop by. This was one of those nice images which came together really quickly without trying. I wish they were all like that!

  4. Aaah, so this is the top secret project you have been talking about! It looks great, I’m looking forward to seeing the rest!
